Velkommen til Kennel Blue Ayers
Welcome to Blue Ayers Kennels
|
Besides our two dogs, Louis and Luna, we are a family of four. Our two boys, Marius and Sofus who are 13 and 9 years old, my wife Deborah and I, (Jørgen), who are high school teachers. Deborah teaches English studies and art history, and I teach French and physical education. We have had the pleasure of having Australian terriers as a part of our family for 20 years and the moving experience of two litters of puppies. Two of our dogs, Sammy and Timmy, both from Tatong Kennels, have been show dogs. You can read more about them if you click on “our dogs”. Our late bitch Olivia (God rest her soul) didn’t like to be in the limelight at dog shows, she preferred to lie in “real” sun beams at home. Our two young dogs Louis and Luna, are also both show dogs. Louis is from Irene Thye, Kisamba Kennels. He is easy going and independent and loves to play on his own in our back yard or go jogging. He rarely barks and is unswervingly co-operative.
Jørgen flew all the way to Finland to get our bitch, Luna, from
Avocation Kennels. (click on “stories”). Luna is a very quick-
witted mischief maker. She is full of tricks as she flies through
the air like lightning to gracefully catch a treat in the air just
in the nick of time before it lands in Louis’ mouth. Needless to
say, she is more temperamental than Louis but somehow, perhaps
because of this, they go well together (both in connection with
their characters and exterior-wise). In 2010 we bred Luna to Louis
and had a lovely litter from which we kept Nellie, Blue Ayers
Angelina, who has already done well at shows, and will be the first
dog of Blue Ayers breeding to carry on our kennel prefix. |
